A passionate Welshman, I am currently the founder and Managing Director of ECOM Digital, a new breed of digital marketing agency’s based in Cardiff.  Furthermore I currently consult for a variety of up and coming digital publishers, well established recruitment agencies and public sector bodies.

Admit ably a workaholic, I have a passion for digital recruitment and more recently the impact social media is having on the advertising and publishing sectors.

After launching one of Wales’ very first job boards back in 2003, I set up publishing house Dual Strategies which went on to employ 15 staff and achieved many successes along the way including..

I have developed a rare insight into an industry that is currently undergoing massive transition. Unfortunately I also have first hand experience the impact a recession has on a small independent publisher. Hard lessons learnt yet it seems ironically rewarding.

In addition to running businesses I have worked for some high profile organisations including Golley Slater (Head of Digital Recruitment), Network 5 Television (Marketing Manager), Super League Europe (Marketing Executive) and Careers Wales (Marketing Manager). In a consultancy capacity I have also assisted a variety of public bodies including The Welsh Assembly Government on subjects such as diversity, recruitment and social media.

I consider digital publishing, digital media development, recruitment advertising (all media), digital video production, creative design and marketing and more recently social media development as my core knowledge/experience.
